About the Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Assistant to work in a Montessori Early Learning Centre in the Bayside area. The role is initially part time for two full days and 3 half days each week, but may have the potential to become full time in the future. This role will be working in a mixed class of 2-3 Year olds and includes paid school holidays.
Key duties:
- Engage with children in meaningful play-based learning activities, focused on Montessori Philosophy
- Implement and contribute to the development of educational programs that are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences.
Skills & Experience:
- Fully completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience working within Montessori philosophy or additional Montessori Qualification
