๐Ÿ“ Melton | ๐Ÿ’ผ Permanent | โฐ Full-Time | Aboriginal Identified

Tradewind Australia is recruiting an experienced Outreach Case Manager to join a specialist Family Violence service supporting Aboriginal women and their children across Melbourne's Western Region.

This is an Aboriginal Identified position, providing an opportunity to work within a culturally safe and community-focused environment supporting Aboriginal women and children experiencing family violence.

๐Ÿก About the Role

The Outreach Case Manager will provide specialist family violence and housing case management, support and advocacy to Aboriginal women and their children.

You will:

  • ๐Ÿค Deliver holistic, strengths-based case management
  • ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Conduct family violence risk assessments and safety planning
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Develop and review case plans and exit plans
  • ๐Ÿ  Support women to access safe and secure housing
  • โš–๏ธ Provide court support and advocacy
  • ๐Ÿš— Undertake community outreach
  • ๐Ÿ”— Facilitate referrals and connect clients with appropriate services
  • ๐Ÿ“ Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to program reporting

โœจ About You

You will ideally have:

  • Aboriginality to meet the requirements of this Identified position
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in family violence or social services
  • Strong understanding of family violence and its impacts on Aboriginal women and children
  • ๐ŸŒฟ A culturally safe, trauma-informed and client-centred approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • ๐Ÿš— Full Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Ability to obtain a WWCC and Police Check

Experience in a similar family violence support role and familiarity with SHIP and SAAP-funded program reporting would be advantageous, but are not essential.
