We are seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join supportive, high-performing teams, committed to delivering excellence in early education and care.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the way in creating rich, engaging learning experiences for children aged 0 - 6 years old. You'll work alongside the Room Leader and ECT to plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs that inspire curiosity, creativity and growth. You'll actively drive quality practices, work alongside fellow educators and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • A dynamic and experienced educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Early Childhood Education
  • A strong understanding of NQF and EYLF curriculum planning and high-quality program delivery
  • A commitment to inclusive practice, child safety and integrated service philosophies

Key duties:

  • Support the Room Leader or ECT in fostering a professional and creative learning environment for all children
  • Maintain open communication, undertake additional duties as needed, and provide excellent service to colleagues, children, families and caregivers
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs based on the National Quality Framework, ensuring clear objectives and family discussions
  • Reflect on practice techniques, maintain inclusive environments, and establish effective partnerships with families and the community
  • Keep confidential records, respond to inquiries, and promote the centre professionally
  • Actively participate in the integrated team, ensuring compliance with policies, Child Safe Standards, and the Australian Early Childhood Association Code of Ethics

Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma in Children's services or ACECQA equivalent
  • Proven experience in a previous permanent Diploma Educator role (excluding placement experience)
  • Ability to work and care for all age groups within the centre
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate
  • Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Years Certification and National Child Safety Training
  • Satisfactory Police and Working with Children Checks, National Ch
  • Knowledge of National Regulations, NQF, VEYLD and EYLF, Child Safe Standards
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
