Starting August 2020, an excellent opportunity awaits a teacher looking to take the next step into middle school leadership as a Head of Department of Music. The school is a popular British curriculum school in Sharjah, UAE.
The role will see you oversee the Music program across both primary and secondary education of this school of 800 pupils. A small teaching load is required. You will have the support of a Principal who has been in the role for ten years and access to one of the best facilities and resourced schools in the Emirate.
The successful candidate must hold a B.Ed., M.Ed. BA + PGCE/Diploma of Teaching in Music plus a minimum of three years teaching experience, ideally in a Gulf school. You must be a candidate with good supervisory and coaching/mentoring skills.
Package - a monthly tax-free monthly salary of up to 20000AED ($7800AUD) is to be offered. Accommodation, flights, gratuity, medical cover, and visa costs. Tuition in the school for up to two children. A two year contract is to be offered for this role.
