Job Description
We are currently recruiting for Rostering Coordinators, based across South Melbourne and South-Eastern Suburbs.
You will be responsible for providing structured support to Aged Care support services, by engaging clients and staff in a way that promotes their strengths and delivers results. You will support them in day-to-day Rostering transitions and engage with other support services. You will also be responsible for assisting in the day to day running of filling vacant shifts.
Key duties:
· Maintaining accurate rosters of authorized work to be undertaken.
· Filling all vacant shifts with appropriately matched staff.
· Re-rostering to accommodate holidays, illness and learning and development requirements as directed.
· Ensuring that Direct Care Workers are utilized in an efficient manner, along guidelines and that workloads are monitored.
· Liaising with Direct Care Workers to notify of care plans and changes to rosters.
You will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Mental Health or related field
- A reasonable understanding of case management framework, including assessment and intake processes
- Experience in the Aged Care Service System
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving skills, and negotiation skills
- Victorian driver's license
You will also be willing to undergo police and Working with Children Checks, as well as providing 2 recent managerial references.
