Job Description
We are looking for Rostering Officers for casual opportunity based in Somerville. This role will be short-term with full-time hours provided, there will be opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
What you will be doing:
- Assist with the establishment and maintenance of client, staff and contractor/brokerage records. Manage all staff rostering processes, ensuring staff with appropriate skills are allocated to clients so that they receive the care specified in the care plan
- Manage the rostering of residential and community aged care staff
- Manage all staff rostering processes, ensuring staff with appropriate skills are allocated to clients so that they receive the care specified in the care plan
- Reconcile staff timesheets with Home Care Manager rostering data and follow up discrepancies
- Coordinate milage and expense reimbursement for staff
- Ensure that all new staff are supported during their induction. Responsibility for rostering buddy shifts, providing information regarding rostering process, pool cars, payroll
- Desirable to use systems such as Carelink, Procura, Gold Care & Alliacre
- Ensure that roster is completed in advance
What you will need:
- Rostering experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Victorian driver's license & car
- Working with Children's Check
- Must have experience within aged care rostering in the community or residential
- Will need be available for immediate start
This role will be full-time in the office, there will be no hybrid model offered during the casual role. This position will be 9am - 5pm and there will be parking provided.
You will also be willing to undergo police or provide a valid police check, as well as provide 2 recent managerial references.
