This independent Orthodox Jewish school delivers a dual curriculum that balances Jewish learning with General Studies, supporting students from Early Learning through to Year 12 across multiple campuses.

About the Role
This is a permanent 0.8 FTE position commencing ASAP, comprised of:
0.6 teaching load: Science across Years 7-10
0.2 allocation: Lab Technician
You'll teach engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons and also support the safe setup, organisation and smooth running of practical Science.
You will be paid a 0.8FTE Teaching load.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons
Differentiate learning to support a range of abilities and learning needs
Assess and report on student progress and provide timely feedback
Foster positive student engagement and classroom culture
Coordinate the Science lab including equipment/resource management and safe practical procedures
You will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Education
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
Experience teaching Science across Years 7-10 (or strong capability to do so)
Confidence supporting practical Science and lab organisation
Strong relationship-building and classroom management skills
A willingness to work within a faith-based school environment (open to applicants from all backgrounds)
