Job Description
The role:
The Senior Program Manager will lead the development, delivery, and oversight of Non-Family Based Care programs and services.
As a senior leader within the organisation, you will ensure efficiency, compliance, and quality of service delivery while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the General Manager Youth & Communities, you will manage program operations, mentor a high-performing team, and align outcomes with organisational goals and community needs.
In this role, you will develop and implement strategies that enhance service delivery and advocate for best practices in collaboration with key stakeholders, including government agencies and community organisations.
As the Senior Program Manager, you will assess program performance and implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people.
As a champion for cultural competence and inclusion, you will ensure services are delivered with respect for the diverse backgrounds of the youth and families we support. Qualification Requirements:
Hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Child Protection in Queensland.
Knowledge of Child Protection and Out of Home Care.
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Demonstrated support and direct staff to achieve desired outcomes for children and young people
Developed time management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication both written and oral.
