Are you an experienced Team Leader or a Senior/Advanced Child Protection Practitioner ready to step up? We're looking for a strong, values-driven leader to guide a dedicated team supporting Aboriginal children, families, and community.
Tradewind is currently recruiting for a Team Leader within an Aboriginal Child Protection team based in Bendigo. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead meaningful work and make a real impact in the community.
🧭 About the Role
As Team Leader, you'll play a key role in supporting and mentoring a small, dynamic team of practitioners. You'll oversee service delivery, manage resources, and ensure strong case management practices for children and families under the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 (Vic).
You'll also be responsible for overseeing cases awaiting allocation and ensuring the team delivers culturally safe, high-quality support.
💼 What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or
- A Senior/Advanced Child Protection Practitioner with mentoring or leadership experience
- Strong understanding of Child Protection practice and legislation
- Experience supporting staff in complex, high-risk environments
- Ability to lead, guide, and build capability within a team
- Commitment to culturally safe practice when working with Aboriginal communities
💰 What's on Offer
- Full-time, ongoing role
- SCHADS Level 6: $110K-$114K
