Team Lead - Child and Family Services
Tell us about your role.
I lead a team of recruitment consultants specialising in the child and family services spaces. We work with non-profit community organisations to find direct services professionals in temp and permanent capacities.
Tell us about your career to date.
I began with Tradewind in 2018 as a Junior Consultant in the Family Services team. At university, I studied Social Science and International Relations, so working with non-profit community organisations was something I always envisioned. I had never worked in recruitment before, but I loved it straight away!
Which of Tradewind's Core Values resonates with you the most and why?
Invest in relationships - to be truly successful in recruitment, you need to invest in all relationships - with candidates, clients, and colleagues. There are a lot of recruitment agencies out there that our clients and candidates can choose from; by investing in those relationships, showing you care and understanding what they need, you are setting yourself apart and ultimately getting a better result for everyone involved.

Recruitment isn't just sales, it's customer service.
