Recruitment Account Manager

What do you do at Tradewind? 

I assisted in the start-up of the Tradewind Brisbane office, and now work in the Gold Coast Office as a Recruitment Account Manager.

​I am a trained Primary and Special Needs teacher and have 3 years’ experience working as a Manager at Tradewind in the UK, working primarily in SEN and Primary Education Recruitment. Prior to this, I was in a diverse HR role at Unilever South Africa, which involved all aspects of HR, ranging from recruitment of staff to being involved in a 2-year long change process to outsource the IT, HR and Finance teams to an external service provider in India. I was also involved in the Diversity programs and Change Management for various Global HR projects and on the Core Team that saw Unilever become No.1 employer in South Africa and Africa.

What is an interesting fact about you? 

I have lived and worked in 3 countries and no one in my family has the same accent!

I organised a 10km Fun Run event in the UK for 500 people and I myself have never run even 5kms!

I am ‘solar powered’ but managed to survive in the UK for 9 years!!

What are your favourite hobbies / passions outside of work?

Photography, going to the beach and enjoying the sunshine.
