Two well-established community-focused organisations are seeking experienced Payroll Officers to join their finance teams. Both roles offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting staff who deliver essential services across Victoria.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in payroll officer roles with strong technical knowledge
- Ability to work in fast-paced and complex environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
The Roles
Payroll Officer | Permanent - Fully remote $90-100K + Super + Salary packaging 2 days payroll processing, 3 days working on complex backpays ASAP start
This role supports a diverse workforce in a busy health and community services environment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience interpreting and applying multiple awards, particularly within healthcare, aged care, or disability sectors.
Key Highlights:
- Full function payroll processing for a 24/7 workforce
- Experience managing multiple awards and EBAs
- Strong understanding of healthcare/aged care/disability award structures
- Accurately process timesheets, overtime, and penalty rates
- Provide clear and timely payroll advice to staff and leaders
- Maintain compliance with Fair Work, ATO, and superannuation requirements
- Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits
- Contribute to process improvement and payroll efficiency
Payroll Officer | Temporary - Hybrid. Opportunity to transition to Perm
$48-51/hr + Super
ASAP start
This position will see you working in a collaborative team environment to deliver accurate and timely payroll services. The successful candidate will bring strong experience with iChris/Chris21 and an eye for detail.
Key Highlights:
- End-to-end payroll processing using iChris/Chris21
- Ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements
- Process new starters, terminations, leave, and variations
- Provide payroll advice to employees and managers
- Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
- Support continuous process improvement
