Job Description

Senior Social Worker - Southport QLD - SCHADS 6, plus car allowance and on-call

Make a real difference. Lead with impact. Thrive in a role with purpose.

About the Role
As our new Senior Social Worker, you'll bring deep sector experience and a hands-on, proactive approach to delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients. This is a non-billable-hours role that allows you to focus on genuine impact-not ticking boxes.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing support coordination and case management for clients with complex needs and chronic health conditions
  • Anticipating and responding to changes in client needs, conducting reviews and assessments
  • Collaborating closely with participants, families, and external stakeholders to maximise the benefits of their NDIS plans
  • Mentoring a graduate Social Worker, while contributing to internal policy, continuous improvement, and daily operations
  • Some travel across North Brisbane to Northern NSW will be required, with company vehicles provided for client visits.

About You
You're someone who leads with heart, thinks critically, and is ready to bring your best every day. You'll also have:

✅ A degree in Social Work and AASW registration
✅ Minimum 5+ years' experience in Social Work, ideally within NDIS or disability services
✅ Proven ability to work with complex clients and high-intensity care needs
✅ A collaborative mindset with experience in multidisciplinary team environments
✅ A Driver's Licence, a valid Blue Card, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
✅ Availability to participate in an On-Call roster (approximately every 8-10 weeks with generous allowance)

Why Join Us?
We're not your typical service provider. We're a dynamic, fast-growing organisation with a reputation for putting people first-both clients and staff. Based in Southport, we've built a workplace culture that thrives on:

  • High performance and genuine care
  • Collaboration and flexibility
  • Professional respect and real rewards
  • We believe in life-changing support, and we're committed to making that a reality-not just for the people we serve, but for the people we work with.

If you're organised, tenacious, values-driven and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

Apply now-applications will be reviewed as they are received.
