Based in Bendigo or Croydon | Leadership + Intake & Assessment Roles Available
Relocation Support Provided | Full-Time | SCHADS Level 6+ (Leadership) or Level 5 (Practitioner)

Tradewind is partnering with leading family violence services to recruit for Aboriginal Identified roles in Bendigo and Croydon. These are values-aligned organisations committed to delivering culturally safe support for Aboriginal women, children, and families.
๐ค About the Opportunities
We're currently recruiting for two key Aboriginal Identified roles:
1. Team Leader (Leadership Role)
Provide cultural and operational leadership to a small team responding to family violence. You'll help guide service delivery, embed culturally safe practice, and support your team to walk alongside Aboriginal families with care and respect.
2. Practitioner - Intake & Assessment
Be the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking support. You'll complete intake and assessment, offer short-term safety planning and referrals, and ensure every response is culturally informed and trauma-aware.

We're looking for people who:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Have experience in family violence, child and family services, or similar community roles
- Bring deep cultural knowledge, a trauma-informed approach, and commitment to healing
- Are confident in working with multidisciplinary teams and systems
- Hold a relevant qualification or equivalent lived and professional experience
