About the Role:

Tradewind is seeking an Aboriginal Response Team Leader for The Orange Door in Bendigo. This Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Identified position involves leading and coordinating the integrated Aboriginal Response Team, including providing support, mentoring, and development to the ART Practitioners based at The Orange Door.

Key Duties:

  • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Lead and coordinate the integrated Aboriginal Response Team
  • ๐Ÿซ Provide support, mentoring, and development to ART Practitioners
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Administer and maintain accurate records and reports
  • ๐Ÿค Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support

Skills & Experience:

  • ๐ŸŽ“ A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, or a related field
  • ๐Ÿงฉ Proven leadership and team coordination experience
  • ๐Ÿง  Strong understanding of family violence dynamics and trauma-informed practice
  • ๐ŸŒ Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with community partners
  • ๐Ÿž๏ธ Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

Requirements:

  • ๐Ÿš— A valid Driver's Licence
  • ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Working with Children Check
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ Willingness to undergo a Police Check
  • ๐ŸŒŸ Must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
