Administration Officer - Community Service Sector

Rockhampton | Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm | $69,000+ plus salary packaging

We are seeking a high-performing Administration Officer to support a range of housing programs. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role working closely with decision-makers across operations, while providing day-to-day administrative support that keeps our housing programs running efficiently.

As the Administration Officer, you will:

  • Deliver professional, accurate administrative support

  • Manage Purchase Orders, invoicing, credit card reconciliation, and expense tracking

  • Maintain data entry and oversee database compliance and accuracy

  • Provide phone-based and in-person support with a consistently high standard of customer service

  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, room bookings, and minute-taking as needed

  • Prepare internal reports and assist with operational tasks, calendar management, and process updates

  • Work side-by-side with program leadership to ensure timely, responsive service delivery

  • Participate in continuous improvement, operational compliance, and administrative support projects

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume administrative or operational support role

  • Excellent multitasking ability and strong attention to detail

  • Advanced skills across Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), SharePoint, Teams etc

  • Familiarity with finance systems such as Centrepay, TechOne, and ExpenseMe (highly desirable)

  • Impeccable phone etiquette and the ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders

  • Capacity to manage competing deadlines and adapt quickly in a changing environment

  • A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent

  • A current Blue Card
