๐ผ About the Role
Step into a rewarding leadership role where you'll guide a passionate team delivering vital services to Aboriginal children and families across remote communities. As Assistant Manager, you'll oversee program delivery, mentor team leaders, and help shape strategic initiatives that create real, lasting impact
Key Duties:
Oversee the delivery of child and family services across a tri-state region
Supervise and support Team Leaders, case managers, and Anangu staff
Work closely with senior leadership on staffing, training, and strategic planning
Liaise with external stakeholders, including government and funding bodies
Contribute to policy development, compliance, and reporting
Advocate for Aboriginal children and families through partnerships, submissions, and presentations
Ensure adherence to WHS, child-safe practices, and trauma-informed principles
โ What You'll Need
Strong leadership and team management skills
Background in case management and community development
Cultural competency and experience working with Aboriginal communities
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to travel to remote communities and work cross-culturally
Relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Development, or similar
