A well-regarded school in Glen Waverley is seeking a passionate and innovative Digital Technologies Teacher to join our team at the beginning of Term 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Digital Technologies lessons to students across various year levels, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key responsibilities include planning and assessing the curriculum, nurturing students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills in a digital context, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience. Strong communication skills and a deep understanding of technology in education are essential. Key Duties:
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community service projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
- Uphold and integrate the school's values and teachings within the educational framework.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience as a digital technologies Teacher- Graduates are welcome to apply too
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
