About the Role:

We are recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to work with an outstanding Council led Childcare Centre in the City of Port Phillip. The ideal candidate will oversee high-quality education and care in a centre-based setting, planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs. The role involves actively leading the quality agenda, supporting and mentoring educators to develop exemplary learning programs in early childhood services. The candidate must align with the philosophy and principles of integrated service delivery and adhere to Child Safe Standards consistently.



Key duties:

· Lead an integrated service delivery understanding, fostering a professional and creative learning environment.

· Maintain open communication, undertake additional duties as needed, and provide excellent service to internal and external users.

· Collaborate with the Coordinator and Senior Educator for performance discussions and comply with legislative requirements.

· Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs based on the National Quality Framework, ensuring clear objectives and family discussions.

· Reflect on practice techniques, maintain inclusive environments, and establish effective partnerships with families and the community.

· Keep confidential records, respond to inquiries, and promote the centre professionally.

· Actively participate in the integrated team, ensuring compliance with policies, Child Safe Standards, and the Australian Early Childhood Association Code of Ethics.

Skills & Experience:

· Diploma in Children's services or equivalent in accordance with the Educational and Care Services National Regulations (2011)

· Current level 2 First Aid Certificate and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate

· Satisfactory Police and Working with Children checks

· Knowledge of National Regulations, NQF, VEYLD and EYLF, Child Safe Standards
