About the role:

This is a full-time opportunity across Monday to Friday.

As the Early Childhood Teacher, your primary focus will be to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that nurtures the social, cultural, emotional, educational, and physical needs of every child. You will take the lead in designing and delivering educational programs that support the overall wellbeing, development, and learning of children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Create, develop and implement high quality and engaging educational programs
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interest, strengths, and abilities
  • Observing and documenting children's progress and development
  • Fostering positive relationships with children, families and the community
  • Develop and participate in a variety of community projects and initiatives
  • Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment

Key skills and requirements:

  • ACECQA Approved Bachelor's/ Master's Degree or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • Strong computer skills
  • Current approved First Aid Certificate
  • Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
