π° Salary: SCHADS Level 5 | $100,783 - $105,349 + super + salary packaging
We are seeking a passionate Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Early Years Practitioner to provide specialist support to Family Services and Bringing Up Aboriginal Babies at Home (BUABAH) teams.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with Aboriginal families and contribute to strengthening early years outcomes and cultural connection.
π‘ About the Role
As an Aboriginal Early Years Practitioner, you will:
β¨ Support Family Services and BUABAH staff on Aboriginal early years topics.
β¨ Work directly with families to strengthen parenting skills and capacity.
β¨ Promote child safety, stability, and wellbeing.
β¨ Create opportunities for families to strengthen cultural connection.
β¨ Collaborate across teams to embed culturally safe early years practices.
π What We're Looking For
βοΈ This is an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander designated role.
βοΈ Qualification and experience in Early Childhood Development, Infant Mental Health, Nursing, Social Work or related field is ideal.
βοΈ Experience working with Aboriginal children, families, and communities.
βοΈ Strong understanding of culturally safe practice and early years frameworks.
βοΈ Commitment to building family capacity and cultural connection.
