Tradewind Australia is currently recruiting Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy students to work in Special Development Schools (SDS) and main stream schools as Education Support staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to student development, and explore potential future pathways in disability or education.

About The Role
This isn't just a casual job - it's a chance to support and empower students with diverse learning needs.
As an Education Support Worker in a school environment, you'll:
- Assist teachers in creating inclusive, engaging classroom environments Provide 1:1 or small group learning support
- Help with personal care tasks (e.g. meals, toileting) when needed - full training provided, and you'll always be supported
- Promote student independence, wellbeing, and skill development
- Step into classrooms when regular support staff are unavailable, ensuring continuity for students
What You'll Need
- Currently working towards an Allied Health degree
- Great communication skills, empathy, and patience
- A genuine passion for supporting children in educational settings
- Two professional references (one must be managerial)
- Current First Aid/CPR, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Screening (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to support students with personal care tasks as needed (support and training provided)
