Key Responsibilities
- Assess information provided in a referral, engage with families with multiple and high-level needs and provide resources
- Engage with families experiencing complex challenges, offering guidance, resources, and referrals to community services.
- Provide culturally informed support to the broader team, ensuring our services align with the needs of the community.
- Collaborate with a diverse network of service providers to ensure families receive the comprehensive support they need.
About You
We are looking for:
- 1 x Family Support Specialist
- 1 x First Nations Family Support Specialist (fulfilling a genuine occupational requirement as an ATSI person, under section 25, 104, and 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld))
- Holds tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, or a related field, or possesses significant experience in family support services.
- Has experience working with government or non-government services, particularly in supporting families with complex needs.
- Holds a Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver Licence.
- Has a positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and can meet any other required personal history screenings.
