About the Role:

Tradewind is seeking an Aboriginal Response Team Leader for The Orange Door in Bendigo. This Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Identified position involves leading and coordinating the integrated Aboriginal Response Team, including providing support, mentoring, and development to the Practitioners based at The Orange Door.

Key Duties:

  • 👥 Lead and coordinate the integrated Aboriginal Response Team
  • 🏫 Provide support, mentoring, and development to ART Practitioners
  • 📋 Administer and maintain accurate records and reports
  • 🤝 Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support

Skills & Experience:

  • 🎓 A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, or a related field
  • 🧩 Proven leadership and team coordination experience
  • 🧠 Strong understanding of family violence dynamics and trauma-informed practice
  • 🌏 Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with community partners
  • 🏞️ Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

Requirements:

  • 🚗 A valid Driver's Licence
  • 🛡️ Working with Children Check
  • 👮‍♂️ Willingness to undergo a Police Check
  • 🌟 Must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
