Salary field: Approx $35.33 - 45.46 per hour + 10% Workers Retention plus 11.5% Super (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

Tradewind Australia is currently recruiting a fully qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join a well-established, purpose-built Early Learning Centre located in the welcoming rural community of Fernvale, QLD. This is a permanent, full-time position commencing as soon as possible.

Key duties:


· Design, implement, and evaluate high-quality, engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

· Facilitate play-based learning experiences tailored to each child's interests, strengths, and developmental stage

· Ensure a safe and healthy environment by maintaining high standards of hygiene and care

· Document and reflect on children's learning and progress using effective observation and assessment strategies

· Foster strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, and the wider community

· Actively contribute to team discussions, planning sessions, and community initiatives

· Participate in continuous professional development and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements



Required Qualifications & Attributes:


· Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Diploma, or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)

· Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

· Approved First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

· Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)

· High level of written and verbal communication skills

· Strong computer and documentation skills

· Current legal working rights in Australia


Skills & Experience:


· Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher in an approved Australian Early Learning setting

· A collaborative and flexible approach to teaching

· Strong pedagogical knowledge and commitment to professional growth

· Ability to build meaningful relationships with children, colleagues, and families

· Passion for delivering high-quality early learning in a regional community environment
