Job Summary: We are working with a co-educational Early Learning - Year 12 Jewish Day School based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The college has earned an outstanding reputation for academic excellence and are now looking for a Full Time, experienced Diploma Early Childhood Educator for their Queens Park, NSW location.

Key duties:

  • Nurture authentic connections with our children and families through building strong trusted relationships
  • Develop and/or assist the Room Leader with delivery of education programs that support children's independence, resilience, and social and emotional wellbeing
  • Assist with the preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children and groups
  • Document children's learning through observations and assessments in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Skills & Experience:

  • ACECQA recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • A minimum of at least 2 years relevant work experience in a Centre
  • Strong understanding of early learning pedagogy and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A working knowledge of Jewish Studies and Hebrew advantageous but not essential
  • Current First aid qualifications including asthma, anaphylaxis and CPR and Mandatory Reporting for Early Years
  • A valid Working with Children Check
