Salary: Speech = $32 - $41 per hour + super dependant on experience

The Role

The role of the Occupational Therapist will work in a trans-disciplinary team of professionals committed to family centered practice. The role will consist of a mix of both discipline profession, early intervention and family service coordination.

The role will consist of:

  • Planning and providing therapy for children with an ASD
  • Providing family service coordination
  • Providing motor, sensory, play and self-care assessments
  • Documenting all assessments
  • Educating families, members and community to support the children with ASD
  • Attending meetings
  • Self-direct learning

The suitable candidate will hold:

  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Experience working with children and families with a disability
  • Great communication and interpersonal Skills
  • Working with children's check
