Starting August 2020, an excellent opportunity awaits a teacher looking to take the next step into middle school leadership as a Head of Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies. The school is a popular private school in Abu Dhabi following a US based curriculum.
The role will see you manage a team of seven teachers with a small teaching load across the middle and high school. You will have the support of a Principal who has been in the role for five years. The school is located on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi City.
The successful candidate must hold a B.Ed. or M.Ed. in Arabic Education plus a minimum of three years teaching experience, ideally in a Gulf school. You must be a candidate with good supervisory and coaching/mentoring skills.
Package - a monthly tax-free salary of 15000AED ($5900AUD) is to be offered. A studio flat and or annual housing allowance (50000AED) is to be offered along with flights, gratuity, medical cover, and visa costs. Tuition in the school for up to two children. A two year contract is to be offered for this role.
