๐ฟ Barrbunin Beek Health Officer (Aboriginal Identified)
Part-time - 16 hours per week | $39.37-$45.49 per hour (depending on experience)

We're looking for a passionate and community-focused Barrbunin Beek Health Officer (Aboriginal Identified) to deliver programs and activities at a local Gathering Place. This role is all about strengthening inclusion, access, and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
What you'll do:
๐ Coordinate and deliver programs and activities at the Gathering Place
๐ค Build strong partnerships with local organisations
๐ฃ๏ธ Represent the Committee in community engagement
๐ Ensure compliance with OH&S and organisational policies
๐งญ Develop an action plan aligned with the Strategic Plan and help secure funding
๐ Drive initiatives that create meaningful outcomes for community members
What you'll bring:
This is an Aboriginal Identified position - you must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (a genuine occupational requirement under s.14 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010).
Strong community engagement and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently while being a team player
Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and health priorities
