Homelessness Crisis Support Workers

• Casual shifts through to full-time
• Located across Melbourne's Suburbs

We are currently looking for Homelessness Crisis Support Workers, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the Homelessness sector, based across Melbourne's Suburbs

You will be responsible for delivering support to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and in crisis. With a vast array of support needs, every day will be different and every person will have different challenges and complexities for you to work with.

You will:

• Provide an immediate response to referrals
• Provide comprehensive face to face assessments
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with key support services
• Provide day to day support for clients who may display multiple and complex behaviours

You will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Social Work, or a relevant Health Sciences degree
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the homeless sector
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to respond to people affected by homelessness, via responsive intake and assessments
• Demonstrated understanding of the homelessness service system
• A valid and current Victorian driver's licence

You will also have or be willing to undergo a Working with Children Check and a Police Check.
