Job Description
Tradewind is working with an independent co-educational school in Southwest Sydney, who are looking for a temporary, full-time maths teacher to join its team for the rest of the 2025 school year, commencing as soon as practicable.
There is also the potential for this position to become permanent. The school fosters a nurturing, inclusive environment grounded in Christian values, promoting academic, spiritual, and social growth.
Key Requirements:
- Experience teaching years 7-12 Maths, experience in Extension 1 is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills in a dynamic, practical setting.
- Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular programs as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to high-quality teaching and learning practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to the school's Christian ethos.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent (minimum 4-year qualification or 75% completion).
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Two referees with educational backgrounds.
