Remote Orange Door Hub Practitioner - working with Adults Who Use Family Violence (AUFV)
$63 - $69 per hour (depending on experience) + super

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Orange Door Hub practitioner experienced in working with Adults Who Use Family Violence (AUFV) to support the Orange Door Hub. You will engage directly with individuals to promote safety, accountability, and positive change. Join a dedicated team making a real difference in the lives of families and communities. This is a 3 month contract, fully WFH.
Key Duties:
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans in line with the MARAM framework
- Work collaboratively with The Orange Door team, including specialists from family violence, child wellbeing, and Aboriginal services.
- Provide specialist advice and consultation to support integrated service responses.
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes and records in relevant systems.
- Support ongoing risk monitoring, reassessment, and referrals to appropriate interventions and programs.
- Uphold a trauma-informed, culturally safe, and client-centred approach in all interactions.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 12-18 months' experience working within an Orange Door Hub.
- Extensive experience working with Adults Who Use Violence (AUFV) in an Orange Door Hub setting.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field.
- Strong understanding of family violence theoretical frameworks and evidence-based interventions.
- Comprehensive MARAM training and demonstrated experience applying it when working with people who use violence.
