About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead an Out of School Hours Care program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the program, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. There is one full time role, and one casual role available.
Key duties:
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs that promote children's learning and development.
- Lead, support, and motivate a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and experiences for children.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and supported.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the broader community.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including National Quality Framework (NQF) standards.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as rostering, budget management, and record keeping.
Skills & Experience:
In line with sector regulations, the following compliance documentation will be required for the role:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (required).
- Previous experience working in a leadership role within an OSHC setting (preferred).
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Working with Children Check and Police Check.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Previous experience as OSHC Coordinator is preferred.
