Salary: Speech Pathologist = $40-$47 per hour + super - dependant on experience

The organization is a not-for-profit organization, helping children and families when living with Autism. We are also seeking certain individuals who have the following Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Speech Pathology backgrounds.

The Role

The role of the Speech Pathologist will work in a trans-disciplinary team of professionals committed to family centered practice. The role will consist of a mix of both discipline profession, early intervention and family service coordination.

The role will consist of:

  • Planning and providing therapy for children with an ASD
  • Providing family service coordination
  • Providing motor, sensory, play and self-care assessments
  • Documenting all assessments
  • Educating families, members and community to support the children with ASD
  • Attending meetings
  • Self-direct learning

The suitable candidates will hold:

  • Qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA eligibility
  • Experience working with children presenting with Autism
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Working with children's check
