Job Summary: We are working with a co-educational Early Learning - Year 12 Jewish Day School based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The college has earned an outstanding reputation for academic excellence and are now looking for a part time Cert III Early Childhood Educator for their Rose Bay location.

About the Role:

Tradewind Australia is thrilled to partner with a prestigious co-educational Jewish Day School in search of a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator (Cert III or Diploma) to join their nurturing 2-3 year old room at their Rose Bay Early Learning Centre.

This is a rewarding part-time opportunity that offers not only a beautiful working environment but also excellent benefits and the chance to be part of a caring, inclusive team dedicated to early childhood excellence.

The hours will be:

  • 4 days a week
  • Tuesday and Wednesdays 1.30 - 5.30pm
  • Thursday 7.45 - 5.30 (8 hour day on a rotating roster including 30 minute lunch break)
  • Fridays 7.15 - 3.15pm

Key duties:

  • Nurture authentic connections with our children and families through building strong trusted relationships
  • Develop and/or assist the Room Leader with delivery of education programs that support children's independence, resilience, and social and emotional wellbeing
  • Assist with the preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children and groups
  • Document children's learning through observations and assessments in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Skills & Experience:

  • ACECQA recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Ideally at least 2 years relevant work experience in a Centre
  • Good understanding of early learning pedagogy and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A working knowledge of Jewish Studies and Hebrew advantageous but not essential
  • Current First aid qualifications including asthma, anaphylaxis and CPR and Mandatory Reporting
  • A valid Working with Children Check
