An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced Physics teacher to work in this top tier IB world school in the Emirate of Sharjah, UAE.
The role will see you teach Senior IBDP Physics and a small mix of middle school Maths/Science classes. You will teach predominately Emirati pupils from middle/upper socio families and a small mix of expat children where a contract for up to two academic years is to be offered. The school is within a 45-minute commute to Central Dubai.
Selection Criteria
Experience - minimum two years full time experience post qualification
Qualifications - minimum Bachelor degree in Physics or Science specialism + Teaching Diploma/PGCE or B.Ed. Physics/Science or similar.
Qualities - experience to an enquiry based curriculum is preferred. A candidate sensitive to work in an Arabic/ESL environment is an advantage. A team player who involves themselves in whole school community is well sort after.
Package
In return, you will take home a monthly tax-free salary up to 17500AED a month ($6900AUD/$4800USD). Package also includes furnished accommodation, flights, end of contract gratuity (21 days per year of service), curriculum training, medical cover + visa. Tuition also offered for up to three children.
