Job Description
Tradewind are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary teacher to join an Independent co-educational Christian school in Riverstone, NSW. Join this well-respected school in a full-time, ongoing role starting Term 2 this year, or as soon as practicable.
Demonstrated Experience and Skills
- Demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners
- Desire to work as part of the faculty and wider school team
- Flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
- Evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
- Effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to support the ethos, principles and practices of the college and willingness and enthusiasm to assist with the implementation and organisation of extracurricular/co-curricular activities
- Knowledge or experience of innovative pedagogical models including project-based learning that leads to greater than 'expected' academic growth
- A strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of students
Prerequisites:
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
- Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references and a Church-based reference
