Program Lead - Property Development
We're looking for an experienced property professional to lead the delivery of high-quality, accessible housing for people living with disability for a 6 month fixed term contract.
As Program Lead, Property Development, you'll oversee projects from concept to completion, managing feasibility, approvals, procurement, contracts and construction. You'll work closely with contractors, suppliers, government and community stakeholders to ensure homes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of accessibility and inclusion.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end housing development projects, ensuring quality, cost and safety targets are met.
- Lead transparent procurement and contracting processes that achieve value for money.
- Identify and analyse new development opportunities that meet both social and economic objectives.
- Provide expert advice to Executive Management and Board.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, government and community partners.
About you:
- Experienced in project management within property development, construction or community housing.
- Strong financial capability - budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and investment modelling.
- Understanding of compliance, permits and approvals (SDA Design Standards highly regarded).
- Ability to engage confidently with contractors, tenants, government and community stakeholders.
- A solutions-focused, values-driven approach and a genuine commitment to creating social impact.
