We are currently working in partnership with a for-purpose community organisation who specialise in supporting carers across Victoria.
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to come on board ASAP on a part-time basis and facilitate with the Service Development and Project Delivery of a second run of a project to improve carers mental health literacy and outcomes. The program will deliver and evaluate an evidence-based model of mental health early intervention for carers. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who have a good understanding of carers, and the mental health impacts of caring.
You will be required to have a high level of initiative and accountability, and an understanding of the framework of Primary Health Networks and their role and service delivery system.
You will have:
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Minimum 5 or more years' consistent experience working in the local government, community or health sector.
- Successful lead role in at least 2 multi-partner pilot projects, including reporting to a Steering Committee
- Experience in community/early intervention/psycho-educational program design, including co-design principles and practice
If successful, you will be required to undertake a police check, be assessed by the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme and supply a current employee Working with Children Check.
