Psychologist - Child and Family
The organisation is a key provider in Autism specific services. They pride themselves on not turning anyone away and can deliver services in homes, schools, kindergartens, online via telehealth or at one of their sites across Melbourne. They are also king seeking other allied health professionals and recruiting for a range of roles due to continious growth.
The Role:
The Psychologist will work in a trans-disciplinary team and be committed to family centered practice. The role will consist of a mix of both discipline specific, early intervention and family service coordination. It will also include;
- Plan and provide therapy for children with ASD
- Provide family service coordination
- Deliver motor, sensory, play and self-care assessments
- Document all assessments and therapy
- Educate families, children and the community to supportchildren with ASD
The suitable candidate will hold:
- Qualification in Psychology or relevant discipline
- Registered Psychologist with AHPRA
- Experience working with autism
- Work rights and appropriate checks
