Quality & Systems Manager |

Our client is a leading not for profit organisation that provides individualised residential therapeutic care to children and young people in the ages of 10 and 17 who are unable to be placed in foster families or group residential homes.

The role:

  • The Quality and Systems Manager position is a dynamic role that supports the Operations team with quality of care and therapeutic approach. This role supports the local delivery of operational team excellence in the Melbourne region.

  • Conducting individual young people therapeutic reviews through Cornell's Therapeutic Crisis Intervention lens, with supporting understanding of Positive Behaviours Support Plans, purposeful programming and internal case clinic facilitation

  • Ensure licensing and organisation standards are met in the area they operate in, primarily through an internal audit process (e.g. reporting of Critical Information within required timeframes)

  • Coach staff as required in regards to meeting requirements for licensing standards

Requirements

  • A demonstrated passion for excellence, quality care outcomes for children and young people in out of home care

  • Qualification relevant to the position are desirable in Human Services related industry and/or Quality/Business Management

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar role required (background in Residential Care and Child Protection highly regarded)

  • Cornell's Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training is a key part of the role, with accredited training provide

Benefits

  • Full-time, base annual salary in excess of $80k with career pathways to senior Quality & Systems roles at $99,084.

  • Annual bonus of $1000 after 12 months' continuous service, rising by $1000 each subsequent year, capped at $5000 for five or more years or service.
