Regional Manager - Counselling and Community Wellbeing

We're seeking a senior leader to take on a pivotal regional role, focused on the continued growth and delivery of our Family and Community Counselling Services (FCCS) and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This is more than a management role - it's an opportunity to build partnerships, grow regional capability, and ensure support reaches those who need it most.


  • Full-time position based in Townsville
  • SCHADS Level 7 salary + generous NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax-free)

What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight for the delivery of FCCS and EAP across multiple regions

  • Guide a team of passionate staff and managers across Townsville and Mount Isa

  • Build contract and subcontract profile through strategic relationship management

  • Lead high-level reporting to funders including the Department of Social Services and Attorney-General's Department

  • Cultivate a culture of trust, care and excellence in service delivery - even in remote settings


What You'll Bring

  • A degree (or higher) in Social Sciences, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, or similar

  • At least 5 years' experience in community services leadership

  • Eligibility as a Family and Relationship Counsellor under the Family Law Act (1975)

  • Deep understanding of family violence, therapeutic responses, and regional service needs

  • Experience managing remote teams and navigating cross-sector partnerships

  • A calm, values-driven leadership style, with a focus on connection, compliance, and care
