Job Description
An esteemed independent school on Sydney's North Shore is seeking a passionate and experienced Religion and Ethics Teacher to join their dynamic Humanities department. This role is available either as a permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) or full-time appointment, commencing Term 3, 2025.
This highly regarded Kindergarten to Year 12 school offers an inclusive and values-based education within a caring Christian environment.
About the Role:
- Teach Religion and Ethics across Stages 4, 5, and 6.
- Contribute to programs on World Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics.
- Work collaboratively in a collegial and professional team.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualifications in Religious Education (Studies of Religion advantageous).
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering engaging lessons and assessments.
- Strong classroom management skills across a range of student abilities.
- Well-developed ICT skills for lesson delivery, department collaboration, and administrative tasks.
- Willingness to support the school's Christian ethos.
