LOCUM ROLE - ROSTERING OFFICER
Full-time Hours With Immediate Start | 3-Month Contract (with potential to go permanent)
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Rostering Officer for immediate locum coverage, preferably in Cairns, however open to negotiation.
You will be essential to ensuring continuity of care for clients across the supported accommodation and disability programs.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Set up and manage base rosters
- Maintain timely, accurate data entry and respond to changing shift needs
- Liaise professionally with teams to confirm shift coverage
- Coordinate leave, availability, buddy shifts and on-site induction allocations
- Ensure compliance with SCHADS Award, IR obligations, and NDIS standards
- Assist with fortnightly payroll processes and audit timesheets
- Provide support to Case Managers and ensure smooth communication flow
- Monitor and maintain staff competency data and support workforce allocation
We're Looking For Someone With:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent phone manner and professional communication skills
- Rostering experience (particularly in disability/community services)
- Familiarity with Visual Care software is highly regarded
- Understanding of SCHADS Award and NDIS Quality Standards is a bonus
- Current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check required
- Availability for immediate start and a commitment for at least 3 months
