  • Oversee daily and long-term rosters to align with client needs, funding requirements and staffing capacity.
  • Step in and assist with rostering tasks as needed to ensure continuity and service delivery.
  • Advocate for your team and maintain strong, open communication across all levels.
  • Motivate and mentor team members, identifying opportunities for professional development and upskilling.
  • Collaborate with care teams and service delivery staff to resolve rostering challenges and ensure continuity of care.
  • Ensure compliance with aged care funding programs (e.g. CHSP, HCP) and internal procedures.
  • Utilise workforce management systems (such as AlayaCare or Procura) to monitor and report on service metrics.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in rostering/scheduling in aged care community sector.
  • Experience leading or coordinating rostering functions within aged care, community services, or a similar environment.
  • Confident leadership style with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong advocate for your team with the ability to support, motivate and mentor effectively.
  • Willingness and ability to step in and manage rostering directly when required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Qualifications in aged care, community services, business administration, or leadership (desirable).
