About the Role

The RTO Manager is responsible for the operational management of the Registered Training Organisation (Seed Skills) and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and regulatory bodies, including ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority).

This role leads the delivery of high-quality vocational education and training, ensuring excellent student outcomes and a seamless user experience for all stakeholders.

This role will engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of training provided aligns to the requirements of Safe Places operations and contributes to the therapeutic needs of the young people we provide a service to.

The successful candidate will provide the following:

  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, including ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority).

* Leadership and Staff Management: Lead, support, mentor and manage trainers and assessors in their delivery of education and training.

* Training and Assessment: Oversee the delivery and assessment of accredited training programs to ensure they meet the required standards. Deliver training and provide assessment services as required, or as demand increases.

* Business Development: Identify opportunities to provide additional courses that will enhance the service delivery within Safe Places for Children.

* Data Management and Reporting: Generate, analyse and distribute regular reports on student engagement and progress reports to line managers.

* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the learning needs and deliver targeted initiatives.

  • Implement and maintain policies procedures and processes that promote high-quality educational outcomes. * Provide support and advice on Vocational Education and Training across the wider business.

Experience and Qualifications required:

Diploma (or higher) in Education, Training or Relevant field

  • Desirable: Bachelor (or higher) in Education, Training or Relevant field

Previous experience in working with Registered Training Organisations and within the Australian Skills Quality Authority.

Proven experience in a management role.

A preparedness to learn and adopt new technology, work practices, systems and procedures; underpinned by an ability to think outside the box.

Demonstrated experience in delivering a wide range of learning experiences using a variety of mechanisms

Ability to operate well under pressure, make decisions, be flexible in responding to changing priorities, work unsupervised, accept responsibility and act on directives

Demonstrated understanding of diversity in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and implementation of culturally safe practices.
