Tradewind are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science teacher to join an Independent co-educational School in Strathfield, NSW. Join this well-respected school in a full-time, ongoing role starting as soon as possible.
Demonstrated Experience and Skills
- The ability to teach stage 6 Biology and stage 4/5 science
- Demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners
- Desire to work as part of the faculty and wider school team
- Flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
- Evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
- Effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
- Excellent communication skills
Prerequisites:
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
- Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
