About the Role:
An excellent prospect is available for a committed Secondary Spanish LOTE teacher to join an F-9 school in Point Cook, located in Melbourne's West. This role is centred on instructing students in years 7-9 in Spanish LOTE, a crucial component of the language faculty. The school welcomes new graduates, those with permission to teach, and experienced educators, and is distinguished by its excellent management.
Key duties:
- Work seamlessly within the dedicated Spanish LOTE teaching team, committed to educating students in Spanish across years 7-9.
- Develop thorough lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum materials in strict alignment with Australian curriculum standards.
- Deliver engaging and impactful classroom instruction, fostering a positive and dynamic learning environment.
- Exhibit unwavering dedication to continuous professional growth and development, staying attuned to the evolving educational landscape.
- Embrace and uphold the school's educational philosophy, seamlessly integrating it into both teaching practices and personal ethos.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Secondary Spanish LOTE
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
