Lead a multi-disciplinary team supporting families impacted by violence
Full-time, 12-month to ongoing contract position with flexible work arrangements
Located in the South East of Melbourne
We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to manage a specialist Family Violence Program in the South East of Melbourne.
This role will oversee and manage a team of case managers and therapeutic practitioners supporting women and their families affected by family domestic violence. You will be responsible for overseeing quality service delivery, clinical supervision, and day-to-day operations of the program.
You must have:
A tertiary qualification in Social Work or related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in team leadership or management, as well as an ability to use initiative, thinking laterally and strategically during times of pressure.
Experience in supporting staff through clinical supervision, mentorship, and coaching
Direct experience working in a therapeutic or counselling service and demonstrated understanding of family violence, trauma-informed practice, and crisis response.
Expert experience in relevant legislation, theories, and frameworks pertaining to Family Violence in Victoria, including MARAM
High level of verbal and written communication skills
You will also have or be willing to obtain a Victorian Drivers Licence, Police Check, a Working with Children's Check, and be able to provide 2 professional referees.
