Tradewind is proud to be supporting recruitment for a Team Leader within The Orange Door in Boxhill. This position is Aboriginal Identified, meaning only applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander will be considered.
About the Role
As Team Leader, you'll provide leadership and guidance to a dedicated team of practitioners working within The Orange Door service. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe responses to individuals and families experiencing family violence or requiring family support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to practitioners
- Ensure services are culturally appropriate, trauma-informed, and client-centred
- Manage workflows, case allocations, and support effective decision-making
- Build strong partnerships with local Aboriginal services and community stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous service improvement within The Orange Door
What We're Looking For
โ๏ธ Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants (Identified position)
โ๏ธ Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, or similar (minimum Diploma)
โ๏ธ Minimum 1 year experience in family violence, child and family services, or related sector
โ๏ธ Strong knowledge of family violence risk assessment and child wellbeing frameworks
โ๏ธ Excellent communication and leadership skills
